Job Context

We are Azim Group, a multi-national holding company based in Bangladesh. Azim Group is very deeply rooted in the garments industry. We have been involved in this sector since its inception in Bangladesh in the early 1980s. Today, Azim Group has about 20 manufacturing units in both the cities of Dhaka and Chittagong, with over 26,000 employees in its payroll. Global Steel & Engineering Limited is one of the Group Company of Azim Group, mainly into steel business.

Job Responsibilities

Provide overall HR leadership to the organization and ensure that the HR Lead on the Learning and Development plan (L&D) for the Bangladesh operation.
Lead on the Performance Management process for the operation and ensuring performance review is completed on time.
Support Head Human Resources and/or lead in implementing a range of HR initiatives including talent management, employee engagement, employer branding etc.
Assist staff in understanding relevant HR policies and procedures and knowledge of where to obtain guidance on them.
Provide support to staff in terms of HR counseling and grievance handling.
Oversee payroll operation in HR.
Talent Acquisition & Development.

Educational Requirements

MBA in HRM, from any public or reputed private university. The premier institute shall be given an advantage.

Experience Requirements

1 to 3 year(s)

Additional Requirements

Age 24 to 30 years
Only females are allowed to apply
A broad network of contacts in the Human Resources in Bangladesh.
Good knowledge of learning and development function and performance management system.
At least 1- 3 years of work experience in a similar role.
Experience of working in learning and development function in a reputed organization.
Excellent communication skills both in Bangla and in English.
Excellent computer skills
